Hypo ball pythons lack the usual dark pigments of normal ball pythons. They can be identified by their light, faded, almost ghostly appearance. Our hypos are from the VPI bloodline. At first, these snakes were highly undervalued, but with the development of “designer morphs”, the hypo ball has become an essential piece in developing new ball python mutations.
